The stretch of road from Lilongwe to Blantyre Malawi....360 kilometers...has some of the most beautiful scenery that we have come to love. In January 2016 we made the trip on a particularly beautiful stormy day. The rainy season in Malawi begins in about mid November and lasts through March into the first weeks of April. The landscape soaks up the moisture and comes alive with GREEN! The locals are equally beautiful and colorful in their Malawian way. We never tire of these sights...I have said that before and will say it until the day we pack up and leave this special land and her people.
