Lusaka, Lilongwe, Kitwe

The beautiful YW of the Matero Branch in Lusaka! Tika, a 15 yr old led the "Come Follow Me" lesson and did a terrific job. Their YW President is Sister Kaluba, she is from Ethiopia and met her husband on her mission in Kenya, where he was also serving. He is the Branch President.
Lilongwe, Malawi Branch Primary. Ruth Chathyoka is the teacher and she leaves in 3 days for her mission. I helped Ruth teach the lesson and she would translate for me. I asked the children what things do they pray for. One of the littlest boys answered: wisdom! They are so bright and eager that it makes you want to take every one of them under your wing and give them opportunity.
This brother baptized his 2 sons after church.

Leif went teaching with Elders Wandera and Van Arsdale. I went with Sisters Maznio and Khumalo.
Kitwe Branch in the Copperbelt. Testimony meeting in this branch was powerful.

We have a son who is coming to the mission in December! We are close friends of Sister Orr's parents who is already with you. Your pictures are helping us to feel a part of the mission and the people of Zambia and Malawi even before he arrives! Thank you so much for the time you spend doing this. Soon we will be looking for a familiar face to smile back at us from your pictures!
